How do I register for the Pajama Walk?
You can register by clicking the Register button in the top menu.
Once you register, you'll get a registration email with login information for your online fundraising page.
How much does it cost to register?
Registration for the Pajama Walk is FREE. If you're registering kids who would like to enjoy the DreamLand Festival after the walk, make sure to buy wristbands so they'll have unlimited fun. Of course, we encourage you to join in the fun and send out your FUNraising page to friends and family so we can continue to make dreams come true for our Special Friends and Talent!
How do I create a team?
To create or join a team
- Head to the register page
- Complete your registration details
- Select "create a team" or "join a team"
Participants and donors can then search your team name to make a donation or join your team.
How do I add a child or adult to my team?
Adult: Send them the registration details. Once they register, they can search for your Team. To make it easier for them to join, it's a good idea to let them know your team name.
Child: Once you're logged in, go to the "Edit My Page" tab and select "Add Child".
How can I see who is on my team?
When you log in to your dashboard, click on the "My Team" section in the left-hand navigation menu. Here you will be able to see a "Team Members" tab where you’ll be able to view everyone who has registered to be on your team. You will also be able to view your donations and ask for support.
How do I join an existing team?
During the registration process, you will be asked if you would like to join or create a team. If someone has already set up a team name, go to "Join a Team" and select the team name from the dropdown menu. Complete your registration and you’ll be able to view your team information in your dashboard!
If you have already registered and want to change or join a team, please email the name and email addresses of those who wish to join the team, and the team name to email@example.com.
Do I get fun stuff if I FUNraise?
Of course, that's all part of the FUN!

- $50+ you'll get 1 limited edition T-shirt

Where does my FUNraising money go?
Your money goes directly to ZABS Place and Friendship Circle to help fund training, employment, placement, and social opportunities for local children, teens, and young adults of all abilities. How can I promote the Pajama Walk?
Once you have created your FUNraising page, you will be able to start sharing all the FUN you're having prepping your favorite PJs and helping make dreams of FUN and Friendship a reality.
Using social media is a great way to share that you'll be joining the Pajama Walk and encourage your friends and family to join you or support your page or team.
How can I thank my donors?
Saying thank you is so important! Let your donors know how grateful you are for their donation by posting a shoutout on your social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) or by sending them an email or text.
What is my fundraising dashboard?
Your online fundraising dashboard is your own website where you can easily manage your fundraising.
You can personalise your page with your own story and photos; as well as send out e-mails to collect donations and thank your donors.
How do I upload photos to my page?
You can upload photos by clicking on the ‘Edit My Page’ tab, then scroll down to 'Your Gallery'.
How do I change my message or page name?
You can change your page name and personal message by clicking on the ‘Edit My Page’ tab. Follow the prompts and ensure you save your changes.
Click the ‘view’ link above your fundraising information to see your changes.
How do I ask people for donations?
You can email your networks directly from the FUNraising dashboard by clicking on the 'Send Email’ tab.
You can use the email template provided or write your own message to request donations.
Why donate to the Pajama Walk?
All funds donated to the Pajama Walk will support job training and placement individuals with disabilities at ZABS Place and social opportunities for children with special needs at Friendship Circle.
Our Special Friends & Talent have incredible personalities and abilities and they dream of being able to share what truly makes them special. That's why we are so passionate about making our community a friendlier and more inclusive place for people of all abilities. By donating to the Pajama Walk, you partner with us in helping make these dreams come true through Friendship Circle and ZABS Place programs.
How do I donate to a participant?
Every penny counts! To make a donation to a participant or team;
- Head to the home page and select ‘donate’.
- If you are wanting to donate to a specific fundraiser, select the ‘Search’ button.
- Type in the person or fundraiser’s name.
- You will be taken to their online fundraising page to make a donation.
Can I mail a check or donate in other ways?
Yes! Here are several ways you can donate.
- Mail a check to Pajama Walk 6619 Sardis Road Charlotte, NC 28270 (If you are sponsoring someone, put their name or team name in the memo of the check.
- Call in a donation to 704 366 5983 Extension 1.
- Donate via charitble fund (Fidelity, Schwab, BNY) via DAF Direct.
- Donate Crypto with this link. Follow up with email@example.com after your donation clears so it can be added to the participant's Pajama Walk page.

How long is the Pajama Walk?
The Walk is a little over a 1/2 mile around the pond at McAlpine Park and takes about 10 minutes to complete.
Where should I park?
There are three parking areas located at the main entrance to the park with easy access to the Pajama Walk route. Here's a link to the McAlpine Creek Park map.
